Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter

½ cup orzo pasta (or vermicelli or angel hair pasta, broken into 1-inch pieces)

½ cup jasmine or long-grain white rice

2 cups Organic Coconut Chicken Bone Broth

1 green onion, sliced

Coconut Rice Pilaf

How to Make It

In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add orzo and cook, stirring constantly about 5 minutes or  until golden brown. Add rice and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

Remove from heat and top with green onion.

BONUS ROUND: Add a cup of frozen peas and 2 cups of cooked shredded chicken at the end to turn this tasty side into a meal.
