Founder Fred Haberman created Freak Flag Organics because of his freakishly deep love for people who are defined by creativity and self-expression. And one of his favorite ways to express himself is through good food: food that’s good to eat, good for the body and good for the planet. It’s why we promise to use only non-GMO and USDA-certified organic ingredients and to create restaurant-level flavor through adventurous recipes. In the mix: zero-sacrifice vegan and tree nut-free options, plus unexpected ways to satisfy keto, vegetarian, dairy-free and flexitarian appetites too.
We also believe in the importance of nurturing creativity—in part because what’s important in any creative act is the process of self- expression. To that, we’re dedicating 1% of our annual net revenue from our Aged Cheddar, Cheese Pizza and Nacho Cheese Mac & Freak products to support youth music, art and culinary education. At the end of each calendar year, we’ll announce the youth recipients who inspire us on Facebook and Instagram.
